Outdoor playing surfaces
We thoroughly clean and apply new sand infill to outdoor artificial playing surfaces so they remain safe to play on. Without maintenance they soon become covered in dirt, moss, algae and debris, and turn into a slip hazard.
Decking, outdoor classroom floors and wooden play equipment can be cleaned with proprietary cleaners, and clear anti-slip coatings applied that let the wood show through while giving a slip-resistant surface.
Play sand
Fine, soft-grained sand supplied and delivered to site for sand pits and play areas, also used for long jump pits.
Bespoke designs for your school
We also offer a bespoke service, so you can customise your markings to reflect the interests of your pupils or to support parts of your curriculum. You can even create branded designs featuring your school crest, logo or motto.
Activity trails
Following the Government’s Action Plan to get children more physically active, particularly at school, we extended our thermoplastic range to include customisable activity trails. The report recommends initiatives such as the daily mile, active lessons and creating active playgrounds.
Our trails are themed, interactive circuits of games and markings that encourage children to run, walk, hop, skip and jump their way around the playground. Design yours around an adventure through the solar system, a journey with well-loved books and characters, a foray through the forest or a whistle-stop tour around the world.
Play bark and woodchip
We supply and spread play bark or play woodchip around play equipment, seating areas or picnic sites. Bark is clean, free draining and provides a safety cushion. Play woodchip is harder wearing, free draining and lasts longer, and in recent years many schools have chosen it in place of bark as it is less expensive.
