Our mowers cut everything from rough, wild, high-growth areas and paddocks to the finest cricket and bowling green surfaces: the biggest tractor-mounted rotary toppers, flail heads and multi-head cylinder gang mowers, down to multi-blade precision fine turf mowers.
We have the right machine and the fully trained staff to make sure your grass and fine turf areas are cut and managed correctly.
Lawns and smaller areas of amenity turf are managed with compact machines that either collect the cuttings or mulch them back into the turf, recycling nutrients into the soil as the clippings decompose.
For that manicured striped finish, our specialist fine turf cylinder mowers with interchangeable cassettes are ideal for cricket wickets, bowling greens and croquet lawns, giving a complete lawn care service all year.
Cuttings can be collected and removed from small, confined spaces with high specification ride-on mowers using blowerless collection, so wet and dry grass is collected efficiently. For larger sports fields and recreation sites we use large tractor-trailed mower collectors.
All types of grassed areas maintained: regular cutting and strimming around recreation fields and play areas, sown margin strips around field perimeters, ornamental banks and ditches kept clear to help drainage.
Unused rough ground that attracts litter can be transformed into a conservation site with clearance followed by mixed wildflowers, grasses, shrubs and trees, then managed with annual or biannual cuts. Walkways and trim trails can be cut through as well.
Rough grass dealt with however long and overgrown. Annual topping of conservation areas is completed with a rough-cut banks mower that chops foliage finely so it breaks down quickly. Walkways can be cut through to give access to the plants, insects and wildlife these habitats support.
Local authority grass cutting contracts and highway roadside verge cutting can be tendered for or quoted individually. Where only a limited number of cuts per season is needed, we use tractor-mounted side arm flail mowers or heavy-duty zero-turn rotary mowers that handle longer grass.
Fully equipped to cut field boundary hedges with mechanical flails, and ornamental hedges that need a fine, precise finish with high blade speed trimmers. Heavy-duty two-stroke hedge cutters with reciprocating cutter bars make easy work of it.
Selective spraying on large areas of sports amenity turf or smaller areas of fine lawn, keeping playing surfaces in peak condition and resistant to wear, and ornamental lawns lush and healthy. Non-selective spraying is offered for hard standing, kerb lines and pathways. Our operatives are fully trained and hold the appropriate licences for all spraying tasks.
Leaves are collected mechanically and removed from site, so unsightly and dangerous piles of wet, rotting leaves are cleared quickly. Regular leaf and debris collections can take place around buildings, hard courts, sports fields and car parks, and all the green waste is recycled and returned to good use.
Topping, harrowing, rolling, fertiliser application and spraying for paddocks. With fully trained and certified tractor drivers, we also offer daily and weekly tractor and operator hire to farmers and agricultural contractors at peak times.
Young trees, hedgerows, colourful bulbs and bedding plants can be planted to bring colour to a site, whether transforming unused ground or enhancing a main entrance. High quality turf is supplied and laid, with varieties suited to shade, hard-wearing play areas or ornamental lawns.
